Studio Albums

The band’s debut self-titled album was released in 1971. And though the album failed to land on the major US charts, it did launch with the single “Sophisticated Lady” that landed on #122 on Billboards Bubbling Under the Hot 100 charts.

Following this was REO/TWO in 1972, which was a gold certfied album by the RIAA.

This albums’ success then led to 1973’s Ridin’ the Storm Out, which was the band’s first platinum certified album by the RIAA and it’s first appearance on the US Billboard 200 chart with a peak placement at #171.

Since then, the band has had multiple albums that have made it ot the Billboard 200 chart. But none were as successful as their 1980 breakthrough hit, Hi Infidelity. Which not only topped the Billboard 200 charts and the Canadian Albums chart, it also landed on charts across multiple territories. In addition, it was rated as a diamond album by the RIAA, a Silver album by BPI, and a 5 times platinum album by MC.

Since then, the band has been no stranger to critical reception. Even as their mass charting success waned, they remain an enduring band with fame among fans and critics alike.
